Maruti Ice Candy & Icecream

We are situated along the Bhuj - Mundra Highway in the village of Kera. Our shop is right near the bus stand, so it’s a handy place for people waiting for their ride. We go by Maruti Ice Candy & Icecream. It’s a humble spot in the Kachchh district. We’ve been here serving the village and the travelers for a long time. The highway gets very hot during the day, so people appreciate a cold ice candy. It’s a small family business. We don't have any fancy decorations. The walls are plain and we just have the freezers lined up. Sometimes we sit outside and watch the buses come and go. It’s a quiet life in Kera, mostly. We know almost everyone in the village. When the tourists pass through on their way to Mundra, they often stop here too. We just sell regular ice cream and the local ice candies that people like. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people seeing us from the road. It’s a bit dusty because of the highway traffic, but we keep the shop as tidy as possible. We just focus on keeping the stock full and the ice frozen. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be a part of this community.
