Mangalam Chemfood Industries

Our place is located on Plot No. 16 in Sector 10/A, over in the GIDC Estate in Gandhidham. If you know this area, you know it is mostly industrial sheds and dusty roads. We have been working out of this spot for some time now. Kutch is a tough place to work sometimes because the sun is really strong, but we are used to it by now. We handle a lot of different things related to chemicals and food processing here. It is not glamorous work at all. Most of the day is spent inside the unit making sure the machines are running okay and the workers have what they need to stay busy. We are just a small part of the big industrial area here. You won't find any fancy signs or big marketing posters at our gate. It is just a metal door and the sound of work happening inside. We get a lot of trucks coming through the estate, so there is always noise and movement around us. Usually, we start quite early before the heat gets too bad in the afternoon. Sometimes we stay late if there is a big shipment that needs to go out to the port or somewhere else in the district. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. No one here talks about missions or visions; we just talk about the work for the day. It’s a lot of sweating and heavy lifting most weeks. We just try to keep things moving.
