Royal Dresses is right in the middle of the Main Bazar in Gandhidham. We are at S-64, and as you can imagine, it gets very busy around here, especially during the festival seasons. The shop is filled with racks of clothes, and sometimes it's hard to see the back wall through all the fabric. We have been in this spot for years, and many of our neighbors have become good friends. It's not a high-end boutique with soft music and fancy carpets. It’s a traditional bazar shop where the floors are hard and the lights are bright. We spend our days folding clothes, helping people find the right size, and making sure the displays don't fall over. It can get very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the market. Our staff is small, and we all pitch in with everything, from cleaning the glass to counting the cash at night. There is always someone coming in to ask a question or just to look around. We don't have a big website or a social media team; we just open the shutters every morning and see who walks in. It is a simple life in the Kachchh area, and we are quite content with how things are. We just keep stacking the shelves and greeting the people who stop by our little corner.
