Mahesh Cloth Store

Mahesh Cloth Store is located over at Shop No. Shaz 8 in Rajendra Chowk. We are right in the Adipur-Kachchh area. I’ve been selling fabric here for quite some time now. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot of material onto the shelves. It’s mostly just me and a helper. People from all over Adipur come by when they need something specific for a suit or a dress. Rajendra Chowk is always busy, especially on weekends. Sometimes the piles of cloth get a bit messy when customers are looking through them, but we tidy up every evening. I like the smell of new cotton and the way the shop feels when it’s full of people. We don't do any big promotions. Most folks just know we are here. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows the location. I try to keep things simple. If you need a certain color or a specific type of thread, I usually have it tucked away somewhere. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running at full speed. Adipur-Kachchh is a good place to have a business. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood, but the store stays pretty much the same. Just a local cloth merchant doing what I know how to do. Stop by if you’re near the chowk. We usually stay open until the last customer leaves, even if it is a bit late. The tea here is strong and the conversation is always interesting.
