Jalaram Hospital

Out here in Kothara Naliya, things are quite different than in the big cities. We are part of the Abdasa area, and it can be a long drive to get anywhere else if you are in a hurry. That is why having this hospital here matters to the local folks. It isn't a massive glass building with elevators or a fancy lobby. It is a practical place built for the needs of the community we live in. We see people from all the surrounding villages every day. Some come on motorbikes, others walk or take the local transport that stops nearby. The rooms are basic but we keep them as comfortable as we can for anyone who has to stay. The weather in Abdasa can be quite hot, so we deal with that every single day. The staff lives nearby, and we all know the families who come in for help. We handle a bit of everything, from minor injuries to people staying overnight for more care. There is always a bit of a breeze coming across the flat land here, which helps with the heat. We keep a lot of water on hand for everyone. The hospital isn't perfect, and sometimes we run low on certain things because the supply trucks take a while to reach us from the main towns. But we manage with what we have. It is a busy life, especially during the harvest season. We just keep the doors open for our neighbors and do our best with what we have.
