Jain Enamel Works

Jain Enamel Works is right here in Soni Bazar, near Mandvi Chowk. We are in the Java Nagar area of the Old Walled City. If you know this part of town, you know it’s crowded and the streets are narrow. It has that old feeling you only get in these older districts. I’ve lived and worked around here most of my life. The shop isn’t very big, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need into the space. Working in the Old Walled City has its challenges, like finding parking or dealing with the noise from the market, but there’s a history here that you can’t find in the newer parts of the city. We do enamel work, mostly just focusing on the day-to-day jobs that come through the door. Some days are busier than others, especially when the bazar is full of people. We see a lot of familiar faces coming by Mandvi Chowk. It’s a tight-knit community in Java Nagar. Most of the people working nearby have been here for generations. We just open up in the morning, do the work that’s waiting for us, and head home when the sun goes down. There’s no big corporate ladder or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. The building is old, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. That’s just the way things are at Jain Enamel Works.
