Gandhidham Architects Civil Engineers Association has its office at 217, Rishabh Corner. This is on Plot No. 93, in Sector 8 along Tagore Road in Gandhidham Kachchh. It’s a central spot for many of us who work in the building trade around here. The room is filled with drafting tables and old blueprints that are starting to turn yellow at the edges. We aren't a big corporation; we are just a group of professionals who needed a common place to meet and talk. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. The walls are covered with local maps and technical charts that we’ve pinned up over the years. Tagore Road is always noisy with traffic, but once you come inside, it’s a bit more focused. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk in and find whoever is around. It’s a bit messy with all the stationery and equipment lying about, but that’s just how we work. We use this space to discuss local projects and share advice when someone hits a problem on a job site. It’s a practical environment for people who get their boots dirty. We have been at Rishabh Corner long enough that the building feels like a second home to many of the engineers in town. We don't need things to be polished to get the work done right.
