Doctor Hina Shah

Bhuj has a very specific feel to it, especially after everything the city has been through over the years. My practice is located right here in the 370001 area. Kutch is a vast place, but Bhuj is the heart of it, and being Doctor Hina Shah in this community means being part of a very tight-knit group of people. The office isn't tucked away in some high-rise; it's right where people can find it easily. We deal with the dry heat and the wind that comes off the desert, just like everyone else. The space inside is simple. I’ve never seen the point in having a waiting room that looks like a hotel lobby. People come here because they need to see a doctor, not to look at expensive furniture. We have some old chairs and a desk that has seen better days, but the equipment is what matters. The daily routine is pretty predictable, but the people who come in always have different stories. Kutch is a place with a lot of history, and you can see it in the faces of the older folks who visit. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy logo. Most of our visitors come because their parents or neighbors told them to come here. It’s a very traditional way of running a practice, and it feels right for a place like Bhuj. Most days we are just busy keeping up with whoever walks in.
