Civil Engineer

I have my workspace at Kesar Nagar 2, specifically Plot No 87 in Adipur, Kutch. The pin code here is 370205. Living and working in Kutch means you get used to the dry weather and the open spaces pretty quickly. My work as a civil engineer involves a lot of basic site planning and checking on construction progress around the Adipur area. The office isn't much to look at—just a solid room with a big table for laying out drawings and a few cabinets for all the files I've collected over the years. I spend a lot of time in my old jeep, driving between different plots of land. People around here usually just give me a call when they start building a house or a shop. It is a very straightforward way of doing things. I don't use much fancy software; I prefer my scale ruler and a good pencil most of the time. The office can get a bit lonely since it’s just me, but I like the quiet of Kesar Nagar. Sometimes a client will drop by to complain about the price of cement or to ask when a wall will be finished. I just tell them the truth based on what I see at the site. It is honest work and it keeps me busy from morning until late evening. There aren't many frills here, just a lot of practical thinking and trying to get things built right the first time.
