Atul Mehta & Associates

Our office is up on the first floor of Pindoria Chamber. If you are coming from New Station Road, look for the stairs near the main entrance. It’s an older building, so the steps are a bit steep if you aren’t used to them. Atul Mehta & Associates started years ago and we have just kept it going. Most mornings are spent going through emails and checking on files that came in the day before. The light in the office is fine in the morning, but we have to turn all the lamps on by the afternoon. Being near the station means it gets loud with traffic and trains, but you get used to it after a while. We have a few associates here, each with a desk that’s usually covered in paper and folders. We don’t do anything flashy. Instead, we just sit here and work on whatever needs finishing. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, especially toward the end of the month. It's just a regular office life for us. We have a small area where people can sit while they wait, but it’s nothing fancy. There are just some old magazines and a couple of wooden chairs. Most people who come here are locals from the New Station Road area. We know the shopkeepers downstairs too. It's a decent place to work and we know the paperwork. We usually close up once the last file is put away for the night.
