Anil Chellani

Anil Chellani operates out of Gandhidham, which is a busy port city in the Kutch region. The 370201 area is known for being a hub of activity with all the shipping and industrial work going on nearby. My place is located right in the middle of this environment. It is not a very big office, just a simple space where I handle my daily tasks and meet with people who need help. Gandhidham is an interesting town because so many people move here for work, so you meet folks from all over India. The weather here can be quite harsh with the salt in the air and the intense sun, but the buildings are built to handle it. I’ve been working here for a while and have seen how the city has grown over the years. My day usually starts with a lot of paperwork and phone calls. It isn't the kind of job that looks glamorous. There is a lot of sitting and talking and trying to figure out solutions for various problems. People find me through word of mouth mostly. I don’t put up big signs or do much advertising. I just stay at my desk and do what needs to be done. Sometimes it gets a bit quiet, but usually, there is someone dropping by or something to take care of. It’s a practical life in a practical city.
