Alok Assam

You can find us at Patel Chambers in Gandhidham, specifically in rooms 105 and 106 on the first floor. This part of Kachchh is always busy with all the shipping and trade going on. Alok Assam has been set up here in Sector No. 9/A for quite some time. The office is usually full of papers, and the sound of the ceiling fan is the background noise for most of our conversations. Working in Gandhidham means dealing with a lot of dust and the heat of the salt pans nearby, so we appreciate being indoors. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through documents that come across our desks. It’s a bit of a maze in this building, with different businesses on every floor, but we like the energy of it. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small team trying to get through the day's tasks. Sometimes we sit out on the balcony to catch a bit of air, even if it’s usually warm. Our furniture is a bit mismatched and the tea lady comes by twice a day, which is the highlight for some of us. We just keep things simple and focus on the work at hand without any unnecessary complications. It’s a decent place to work and the location at plot 41 is good for what we do every day.
