Shri Krishna Kids Wear

Our shop is right across from the Gandhi Samadhi in Adipur, which is a pretty easy place to find if you're in this part of Kutch. It’s just a small shop, labeled Number 2 in the Daz 1 building. We’ve got shelves stacked high with all sorts of clothes for children, from little babies to older kids. It gets pretty crowded in here when parents bring their little ones in to try things on. We try to keep things organized, but kids have a way of moving stuff around, so we’re always folding things back up. The shop has been here for a while, and we’ve seen a lot of local families grow up over the years. We don’t do much advertising; people just walk in because they’re passing by the Samadhi. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter, helping people find the right size or checking the stock in the back room. The light in the shop isn't the brightest, but it’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We talk to the regulars about the weather or local news while we wrap up their purchases. Sometimes the shipments arrive late, and we have to spend the evening unpacking bags and tagging everything. It’s a lot of standing on your feet, but it’s what we do. We like being in this part of town because it’s always got people moving around outside and that makes the day go faster.
