Pritam Majumder & Co.

Our office, Pritam Majumder & Co., is located in Hatkhola, which is under the Kushmandi area in Dakshin Dinajpur. It’s quite far from the big cities, and we like it that way. Things move a bit slower out here, which gives us time to focus on our work without too many distractions. We’ve been here for a good while, and most folks in Kushmandi know who we are. The building we’re in is old but sturdy. We spend our days dealing with various local matters and helping people with their paperwork or whatever they need from us. It’s a small operation. There are days when the rain is so heavy we can barely hear ourselves talk, but we keep the lights on and the work moving. We don't have a website or anything like that; people usually just walk in or call us on the landline. It’s more personal that way. We know the families around here and they know us. Sometimes we share a tea while discussing a project. It’s not just about the business; it’s about being part of the neighborhood. We don’t make big promises, we just do the work that comes across our desk. It’s a simple life and a simple business, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the year. We are just a local group trying to do our part for the folks nearby and we wouldn't have it any other way.
