Shiv Bricks

Shiv Bricks is located over in Gurwalia, right near the 33Kva Sub Station. If you are coming from the Post Office, we are just a short distance from there. It is a quiet spot for the most part, except when the tractors are coming in and out to load up. Running a brick kiln is a lot of hard work and you are always at the mercy of the weather. If it starts raining unexpectedly, we have to run out and cover everything up as fast as possible. We spend most of our time outdoors in the sun. It is not a glamorous job and our clothes are always stained with red dirt. We keep all our records in a small wooden shack on the property. We do not have a big team of managers or anything like that. It is just me and a few local workers who have been with us for years. People around here know us by name, so we don't really need to advertise much. They just drop by for a cup of tea and tell us what they need for their construction. Sometimes the power from the sub station goes out, but we just keep working by hand. It is a very basic way of doing business, but it has worked for us so far. We just focus on making the bricks and getting them out to the sites.
