Sahmat Clinic

Sahmat Clinic is right at Aman Chowk in Padrauna City, Gorakhpur. We are near Belwa Chungi, which is how most locals find us. It’s a small clinic serving the people around this part of town. The area is usually quite lively with people moving around the chowk. We have a simple front door and a small sign. Inside, there are just a couple of rooms. We see a lot of kids and elderly people mostly. Fever, coughs, and those kinds of things are what we handle every day. There’s a bench outside if the inside gets too full. We don't have a lot of staff, just a few of us making sure things run okay. We use paper files mostly. It takes a bit of time to find the right one sometimes. The clinic isn't very fancy, but it does the job. We know most of the families who live nearby. It’s the kind of place where people stop to say hello even if they aren't sick. The street outside is dusty and noisy. We try to keep the dust out but it’s hard. We have a small light over the door for the evenings. It’s a basic setup for basic health needs. We take things one patient at a time and try not to rush them too much. Sometimes the tea man from across the street brings us some chai while we work. We just do what we can for the folks here.
