Vrikshropan Foundation

Vrikshropan Foundation is based out of a house in Bherian, which is part of the Pehowa division in Kurukshetra. Specifically, we are at House Number 204, C/o Bharthu Ram. This isn't a corporate office in a glass tower; it’s a real home in a real neighborhood. Being in Kurukshetra gives us a lot of connection to the land around here, which makes sense for what we do. We mostly focus on plants and trees, trying to get more of them into the ground. It’s hard work and your hands usually end up dirty by the end of the day. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the basics and a lot of patience. Pehowa is a quiet area, and working out of Bherian means we are away from the big city noise. We know the people living around us, and they know what we are trying to do with the foundation. There is no big mystery to it. We just think more trees are a good thing. We spend our time organizing local efforts and making sure the saplings are taken care of. It’s a very local operation and we prefer it that way. We aren't trying to change the whole world overnight, just our little part of Haryana. People know where to find us if they want to help out or if they need some advice on planting. It’s just us doing what we can from our home base in Kurukshetra.
