The building isn’t brand new, but it works for what we need. We handle infrastructure projects, which basically means a lot of phone calls and checking on supplies. The area around the post office is usually humming with people doing their daily errands. Our office is pretty straightforward. We have a few rooms filled with files and a couple of computers that have seen better days. We don't really do the whole big city corporate thing. It’s more about knowing the people we work with and making sure things get done properly on the sites. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until it comes back on. That’s just life here. We’ve been at this for a bit, and the routine hasn't changed much. People drop by, sometimes just for a quick word or to drop off some papers. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. It’s just us working out of this house-turned-office, trying to manage our projects without making things too complicated. Every day is a bit different, but the goal is always just to finish the day’s tasks and prepare for the next.
