Our office is at Shop No.-6 in the Sunderpur area. It sits right across from the Mahila Thana in Thanesar. Kurukshetra is a place with a lot of history and we like being based here. We run things under the name of Ssaroj Chawla and the setup is quite practical. There isn't much in the way of decoration. We have some chairs for visitors and two or three sturdy desks. Usually the place is quiet until a client walks in wanting to talk about property. We do quite a bit of real estate work in this region. The road outside can get very crowded with people and cars during the middle of the day. We have been operating from this part of Kurukshetra for a good amount of time now. We know all the local landmarks and the shortcuts around town. Sometimes we go out to get lunch from the small food stalls nearby. The office gets a little warm during the summer months but our old ceiling fan helps a bit. We aren't trying to act like a giant corporate firm. We just help people with their land deals and investment choices. It is straightforward, no-nonsense work. We still use ledgers sometimes alongside the computer for our records. Most of our neighbors are other local business owners. We greet each other every morning when we open up. It is a decent way to live and work. We just keep the place tidy and do our jobs.
