Skpwh Foundation

We are based in Chanalheri village at house number 89. It’s a quiet place in the Pehowa area of Kurukshetra, far away from the big city noise. This foundation is something we started because we wanted to help our own neighbors. It’s not a formal office with a sign on the door. It’s just a home where we gather to talk about the village's needs. We might be discussing health issues one day and local school supplies the next. Most of us are farmers or have small businesses around here, so we do this work in our spare time. It’s not always organized, and sometimes we forget to write things down. We sit out in the open area of the house and just figure things out as we go. People know they can just walk in whenever they see the lights on. We don’t have a website or any fancy marketing. Everything happens through word of mouth in the village. It’s a very personal way of doing things, and we wouldn't want it any other way. We’ve lived here all our lives, and we care about what happens to this community. It’s about looking after each other and making sure the village stays a good place for everyone to live. It is just plain and simple work for the people we know and see every day.
