Saraswati Mission Hospital

We run a 50 beded multispeciality hospital located inside the Saini Samaj Bhawan, right near Birla Mandir Chowk. It is a very active area, and the hospital stays busy because of its central location. Being at Birla Mandir Chowk means there are always people, rickshaws, and buses moving outside our doors. Saraswati Mission Hospital occupies a good portion of the Bhawan, giving us enough room for various departments. We have several wards and a surgical area, along with a place for people to wait. It isn't a quiet place, but it is a productive one. I handle a lot of the day-to-day paperwork and make sure the nurses have what they need for the patients in those fifty beds. The staff comes from all over the city, and we work in shifts to keep the place going twenty-four hours a day. We don't have a corporate office or any slick marketing materials. Our focus is just on the daily routine of checking temperatures, giving out medicine, and talking to families. The waiting area can get a bit loud when families gather, but that is just part of how things are here at the Chowk. We use simple English and local words to explain things to patients so everyone understands what is happening. It is a large, practical operation that serves a lot of people every day. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing in Saini Samaj Bhawan.
