You can find us at Shop No 5 in the Arya Samaj Market. We are right opposite Sector 17, which is a busy area to be in. The market is always full of people, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We do a lot of art-related work, mostly signs and things like that. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There are paint cans and brushes scattered around most of the time. We’ve been in this market for quite a while, so we know all the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a friendly enough place. We start our day by opening the front shutter and setting out a few things to show what we do. There’s usually a bit of dust from the road because of all the cars going into Sector 17. We use simple tools and do a lot of things by hand. It’s not a high-tech studio, just a workshop where we put in our hours. The stool at the front is where someone usually sits to catch a bit of a breeze. We get all sorts of customers, some who know exactly what they want and others who just have a vague idea. We just listen to them and try to make something that works. It’s a honest way to spend the day. We are here most days from morning until late evening, just keeping at it.
