We are out here at V/714 near Partap Gate in Kaithal. It’s a familiar spot for most people in this town. The building isn’t new, but it serves us well for what we do. Every morning starts with opening up the gates and checking the schedule. Being involved with automotive parts and vehicles means there is always something that needs to be looked at or moved. We have a lot of racks and heavy items that we shift around throughout the day. The guys working here usually have grease on their hands by ten in the morning. It’s a lot of routine, really. We talk to local mechanics and people who need stuff for their cars. Kaithal is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we often spend more time chatting with people who drop by than actually doing the paperwork. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a ceiling fan that squeaks a bit. We don't have any big slogans or fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the job done. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we all slow down a bit in the afternoon, but the work never really stops. It’s just a steady life here at the gate, making sure the parts go where they are supposed to and the customers go home satisfied with what they got.
