About Hare Krishna Rice Mill – Food & Beverages in Kurukshetra
Village Meheran Khurd is a quiet place for the most part, but things get pretty busy once you get near Hare Krishna Rice Mill. We’ve got our setup here and we’ve been running it for a while now. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. Moving heavy bags and making sure the machines are actually doing what they are supposed to do. Sometimes a belt breaks or something gets stuck, and we have to stop everything to fix it. It can be frustrating, but it’s part of the day. You won't find any shiny signs or big advertisements around here. We just have the name Hare Krishna Rice Mill on the front and that’s plenty. Most of the guys working here are from around the village or the next one over. We talk about the weather a lot because it really matters for the rice. If it rains too much or if it’s too humid, it changes how everything feels. The yard is usually full of tractors and older trucks coming in and out. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the fields in Meheran Khurd. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing person. I’m just writing this because someone said we needed a description. We are just here doing the work every day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. That’s about all there is to say about the mill here in the village.
