Gurnam Clinic

Gurnam Clinic is located on Ladwa Road in Babain. It’s a quiet enough place compared to the bigger cities, but we still stay fairly busy throughout the week. Most of our patients are from the surrounding villages or people who live right here in Babain. We deal with all sorts of regular health issues. People come in with a bad cough or maybe they hurt themselves while working out in the fields. The clinic is simple and functional. We have a wooden desk, some plastic chairs, and a small room for checkups. Ladwa Road is the main way people get around here, so we’re easy to find for anyone passing through. We don't have a website or a social media page. Most people just walk in when they need help or when they aren't feeling well. It’s a small-town way of doing things. We know most of the families around here by now, and we’ve seen their kids grow up over the years. Sometimes we run out of a certain medicine and have to wait for the next delivery truck to come from the city, but folks around here are patient. We aren't trying to be a big hospital; we just want to be a place where the local community can come for their basic medical needs. It can be a lot of long hours, especially during the harvest season when everyone is working hard, but it’s a good way to live.
