Ambuja Cements Ltd.

Down here at the Old Grain Market in Pillu Khera Mandi, things look a bit different than they do in the big city offices. We are based out of Goel Trading Co., and it is a busy spot. There is always a lot of activity with the local traders and farmers coming and going. We handle the Ambuja Cements side of things right here amidst the bustle of the mandi. It can get pretty crowded, especially during the peak seasons when everyone is trying to get their building supplies at the same time. The air is thick with the smell of grains and the fine dust from the cement bags. We have a small desk tucked away where we keep the receipts and the delivery logs. It’s a bit cramped, but it works for what we need to do. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or folks we’ve known for years. We don't use any fancy systems, just a pen, a ledger, and a good memory for who needs what. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of the market, which causes a bit of a headache, but we always manage to sort it out. It is a very hands-on job, and we are right in the thick of the local trade. It’s just us, working hard in the heart of the market, trying to get through the day's orders.
