You can find us in Asra Nagar Colony, Ward-3, which is right by the Shiv Mandir. The temple is the main landmark around here. It’s a residential area, so we know most of the people who walk past our door every day. We sell food items and cold drinks. It's a small place, nothing like the big supermarkets you see in the city. We keep things simple. If we don't have something, we try to get it in for the next time someone asks. The mornings are usually quiet, mostly just people going to the temple or kids heading to school. Things pick up in the evening when everyone is home from work and school. We have a few shelves and a couple of refrigerators. Sometimes the fridge makes a weird humming sound, but it keeps the drinks cold, so we don't mind it much. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. Word of mouth is how people find out about us. We’ve been part of this colony for a good bit of time now. It’s nice being near the temple because it feels peaceful, even when we are busy with customers. We just try to keep the stock fresh and the prices fair for our neighbors. It’s not a complicated business. We open up early, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer. That's our routine every single day here.
