Our factory is located out in Chinna Malkapuram Village, which is a bit of a drive from the main part of Kurnool. It is a quiet place except for the sound of the machinery running throughout the shift. At Vijaya Bharathi Minerals And Chemicals, we spend most of our time processing various raw materials that come from the earth. The village setting is nice because there is plenty of space, though it can get extremely hot in this part of Andhra Pradesh during the summer months. The workers here are mostly from the nearby villages, and they know the processes inside out. We don’t have any slick brochures or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just focus on the chemicals and minerals we produce and try to make sure the quality stays consistent enough for our regular buyers. The factory floor is always busy, and there’s a lot of white dust from the minerals that covers everything by the end of the day. It’s hard, physical work, and it isn't always pretty. We handle our own logistics mostly, dealing with trucks that come in and out through the village roads. It’s a very basic, ground-level business. We aren't making big promises or using fancy words; we are just local people working with the resources we have available to us in the Kurnool district. It's a long day for everyone, but we make sure the job gets finished before we head home in the evening.
