Our architectural practice is located right here in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. We are in the 518002 pin code area, which is a fairly central part of town. It’s a local office, nothing too big or flashy. We mostly spend our days dealing with the practical side of building design. There are usually a few of us here, hunched over desks covered in site plans and sketches. We don’t have a receptionist or a big waiting room because we are usually out at project sites or busy in the back with our drawings. The weather in Kurnool gets pretty intense, so we’ve got a couple of noisy fans that stay on all day to keep us from melting while we work. We take on all sorts of work, from small house plans to slightly larger structures. It’s a lot of measuring, redrawing things, and then measuring them again just to be sure. We don’t really go in for marketing or trying to sound like a huge firm. We’re just local people who know how to put a building together on paper. People in the neighborhood know us, and we mostly get work through word of mouth. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with samples of stone or brick, but that’s just part of the job. We keep things straightforward and try to stay on top of the technical stuff without making it more complicated than it needs to be for our clients.
