Surya Hospital

Our place, Surya Hospital, is located on Joharapuram Road. If you know where the New Ayyappa Swami Temple is in Satyagiri Nagar, we are right near there. It’s a decent area, fairly quiet compared to the main town. The temple bells can be heard sometimes when it’s calm, which is nice. We’ve been operating out of this building for quite a while now. The locals know us well. It’s not a massive facility, just a regular hospital where we handle the daily healthcare needs of the people living around here. We have a few beds and the essential equipment. The staff usually brings lunch from home and we eat together when there’s a break. It feels more like a family than a big institution. We don’t go in for big advertisements or fancy slogans. We just open the gates and take care of whoever comes through the door. The building is painted a simple color and we try to keep the small garden out front looking okay. Some days are slow and others we don't have a minute to sit down. That’s just the nature of the work. It’s a straightforward life here in Satyagiri Nagar. We do what needs doing and go home at the end of the shift. We often see families walking to the temple and they wave at us. It's a good place to be, and we just keep on with our daily routines.
