Our company, Sri Krishnamohan Polishing Slabs & Minerals Co., is located at Dr.No.5-19 on Dhone Road. We are right next to the railway gate in Betamcherla. This is a place where we do a lot of the heavy work involved with stone. Betamcherla is known for this kind of industry, so we are surrounded by similar businesses. The sound of the trains passing by is constant, and we always hear the bell ringing when the gate closes. We spend our days polishing slabs and dealing with various minerals. It’s a wet and messy job because we use a lot of water in the polishing process. Our workspace isn't a showroom; it's more of a factory floor where the actual work happens. We’ve been at this for many years, following the same routine every morning. The machines we use are old but they still do the job. Sometimes they need a bit of repair, which we usually handle ourselves. It’s a family-style operation here. We don't have a fancy reception desk. Most of our customers are people who have known us for a long time. We just focus on getting the slabs as smooth as possible before they are sent out. It’s hard work and your hands get rough from the stone and the water. But it is what we know how to do, and we’ve been doing it right here by the railway gate for a long time.
