If you take the Railway Station Road toward Ss Colony in Dhone, you’ll find us. We’re at 3-4-258. It’s a good spot because of the train station nearby. There’s always people walking past. We’ve been running the store here for a good while. It’s a bit of a routine now. Open the shutters, sweep the front, and wait for the first customers. We sell a bit of everything, mostly stuff people need for their homes. The shelves are usually pretty full. Sometimes it’s hard to find things, but we know where everything is. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My uncle used to help out, now it’s mostly just us. We see the same faces every morning. People coming from the station stop in for a quick bit of shopping before heading home. It gets busy when the trains arrive. The heat in Dhone can be a lot, especially in the summer months. We have a small fan that works most of the time. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in. Sree Lakshmi Venkateshwara Stores is just a local shop for the people around here. We aren't trying to be anything big. Just keeping the doors open and helping out whoever comes through. It's a decent life. We like being near the colony. It's quiet enough at night but full of life during the day.
