Shakti Rice Mill

Our mill is on Marketyard Road in Yemmiganur. If you come down to House No. 5-143, you will find us. It is a noisy place once the machines start running. We spend the whole day processing grain that comes in from the local fields. The air is usually thick with the smell of rice and the sound of the hullers. It is a lot of hard work, especially during the harvest season when the tractors are lined up outside. We have a small crew of guys who know these machines inside out. They can tell if something is wrong just by the sound of the motor. We don't have a fancy lobby or any marketing people. It is just the mill, the bags of rice, and the scale. We deal with farmers mostly. They bring their crops and we get to work. It is a dirty job with a lot of dust, but it is what we do. Yemmiganur is a central spot for this kind of thing. We have been on Marketyard Road for a long time now. The building is old but the equipment works well enough. We keep the floors as clean as you can in a rice mill. It is just a steady routine of loading and unloading. We don't promise anything other than doing the work we were asked to do. That is how we have always operated here.
