Sari Sailam Coffee

You can find Sari Sailam Coffee on the ground floor of the Siddharamappa Shopping Complex, right near Nandi Circle. Our unit is G9. Being in Srisailam means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are locals doing their grocery shopping, and others are just passing through the circle on their way somewhere else. The complex can get quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan blowing behind the counter. We keep the coffee beans in large bins and grind them as people ask. It’s not a big operation. It’s just a few of us making sure the bags are filled and the floor is swept. There’s always someone leaning against the doorframe talking about the local news. We don’t have much in the way of decoration, just a calendar on the wall and the price list. The shopping complex has a lot of noise, with people shouting and bikes revving outside near the circle. It’s a busy place to work, but it keeps the day moving fast. Sometimes the shipment of beans arrives late because of the mountain roads, but we usually have enough stock to keep things going. We just try to get through the day’s work and make sure every customer gets what they came for without too much fuss. It's just how the shop runs every day.
