Santhiram Gen. Hospital

We are located right on NH-18 in Nandyal, which is in the Kurnool district. Being on the national highway makes it easy for people to find us, though it does mean there's always the sound of trucks and cars passing by. This is a general hospital, so we see all kinds of things every day. It’s a big, practical building that’s been around for a while. We aren't a small clinic; we handle a lot of patients from the surrounding areas of Andhra Pradesh. The staff is always on their feet because things can get pretty busy, especially in the mornings. We have different departments for different needs, but it’s all kept pretty simple. No fancy decorations or unnecessary stuff. We focus on getting people seen and treated so they can get back to their lives. The hospital has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of the Nandyal community for years now. People know they can just come here when something is wrong. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. We just provide the medical services that are needed out here by the highway. It’s a tough job sometimes, but we’re used to it. Every day is different, and we just take it as it comes. The hallway floors are made of thick stone and they’ve worn down a bit where people walk the most. It just shows how many folks we’ve seen over the years. It’s honest work and we keep at it.
