Sai Ram Hospital

Sai Ram Hospital is right here in Yemmiganur. It’s where we spend most of our waking hours, seven days a week sometimes. The town is growing quite fast, so there are always new people coming in. We handle a bit of everything, from little kids with fevers to older folks needing a regular check-up for their blood pressure. This building isn't brand new or very modern, but it works for what we need to do. Keeping things moving is a priority so nobody waits too long out in the hall, though it still happens when it gets really busy on market days. Yemmiganur is our home, and most of the people who live around here are known to us by their first names. Working in a hospital is tiring, but it's important work for the town. Fancy lobbies with air conditioning are not what we have here. It’s just plain rooms for patients and a place for us to do our work. Power goes out in the afternoon sometimes, and we just have to manage with what we have until it comes back on. That’s just how things are in this part of the country. With our small team, we all know each other's ways by now. It’s a practical place for practical people. Neighbors come here because we are close by and they know what to expect when they walk in. Day after day, we just keep doing our jobs without much fuss.
