Safa Coffee Shop

If you walk through Bhagavan Nagar in Kallur, you’ll find Safa Coffee Shop at 1-17-19. It’s a small place, maybe a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we make it work. We opened up here because we like the neighborhood and the people who live around these streets. Most of the time, it’s just the sound of the grinder and people talking. We don't have a fancy menu with names you can't pronounce. It’s just coffee, plain and simple, the way we like to drink it ourselves. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit old, but it feels like home to us. We aren't interested in being a trendy spot that people just visit for photos. We want to be the place you stop at because it’s on your way and you know what to expect. The address is easy to find in Kallur. We’re usually there from early morning until the sun goes down. There’s no big corporate board making decisions for us. It’s just us behind the counter, trying to keep things running smoothly. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic go by in Bhagavan Nagar. Other days, we can barely keep up. That's just the nature of having a small shop. We just take it as it comes.
