S L V Cloth Hub

S L V Cloth Hub is located at 3-621 in Siddappa Palam. This is a quiet part of Kosigi but we stay pretty busy with all the different fabrics we keep in stock. When you walk in, you’ll see rolls of cloth stacked up against the walls. Some are bright colors and some are just plain. We spend a lot of time measuring out meters of fabric for people who come in from the nearby areas. It is a bit of a small space for everything we try to fit inside. The light comes in through the front door and hits the different textures of the cloth. We have been working out of this building for a while now. Kosigi can get very hot in the afternoons so we usually keep the fans running high. We don't really do anything fancy here, just help people find what they need for their clothes. Sometimes it’s for a wedding and sometimes it’s just for regular work wear. We handle the scissors and the measuring tapes all day long. It gets a bit dusty with all the threads and lint flying around, but we don't mind much. It is just part of the job. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We usually open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a steady kind of life here in Siddappa Palam and we are just happy to be part of the community.
