Girish Kumar Photography is based near Bellary Chowrastha on Ballary Road, specifically in the Radha Nagar area. It’s a familiar part of town for us. We’ve got a small setup here where we do most of our work. It’s not a huge studio with a front desk or anything. It’s more like a workspace where we keep our gear and meet people who want to talk about their photos. We do a lot of local stuff, like family gatherings or just portraits for people in the neighborhood. The Ballary Road is always humming with noise, so we’ve gotten used to the sound of trucks and buses passing by while we work. Girish started this because he had a knack for catching people at the right moment. It wasn't about building a big company; it was more about just doing the work. Sometimes we struggle with the technology or the software updates, and we spend hours trying to figure out why a printer isn't working. It can be frustrating. But when we get a good set of prints back, it feels okay. We’re just regular folks who happen to spend a lot of time thinking about lighting and frames. We stay busy with whatever comes through the door, whether it's a big project or something small.
