Pavan General Stores

Ganjella Road in Yemmiganur is where we’ve set up Pavan General Stores. It’s a typical small-town shop where things move at a slower pace than the big cities. We carry the basic necessities that everyone in the neighborhood needs. You’ll find things like pulses, sugar, matches, and local snacks. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to be clever about where we stack the crates. Usually, there’s a stack of crates right near the door. The road outside can get a bit muddy when it rains, so we’re always mopping the floor to keep it somewhat clean. Most of our customers are people we see every single day. We know who wants what before they even ask. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the local gossip while you wait for your change. I don't use a computer for the accounts; I still use a thick ledger book and a pen. It works fine for me. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy keeping the shelves full to worry about that right now. In the afternoons, when it's really hot, things quiet down and I might sit on the bench outside for a bit of air. Then it picks up again in the evening. It’s just a regular part of life here on Ganjella Road. We do our work and go home. We don't have much else going on besides this.
