New Mamatha Medical Stores

New Mamatha Medical Stores is located right opposite the Government General Hospital. Because of where we are, it stays very busy almost all the time. People come across the street from the hospital at all hours. We have to keep a lot of different things in stock because you never know what the doctors over there will prescribe. It is a small shop, but we pack it full. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling. We spend most of the day on our feet. There is a lot of rushing around, especially in the afternoons. Being opposite the hospital means we hear the ambulances and see the crowds every day. It can be a bit stressful, but it is just the nature of the job. We don't have time for fancy talk or decorating the place much. We just keep the medicine stocks updated. The building is part of the Ho area. We have been here for a long time, and the doctors know us. We just try to get the prescriptions filled correctly and quickly. Sometimes we run out of space for all the boxes, so things get a bit messy in the back. It’s a practical place for practical needs. We are just a local shop trying to keep up with the demand from the hospital across the road. We stay open even when it’s raining hard because people still need their medicine then and we want to be there for them.
