Kurnool Hardware Stores

If you go down Nehru Road, you will find us at Shop No. 18/41. Kurnool Hardware Stores is a pretty straightforward place. We have shelves full of everything from nails to heavy tools. It is usually a bit dusty because of all the items we move around. People come in looking for specific parts for their homes or projects, and we try to find what they need in the stacks. We’ve been on Nehru Road for many years, seeing the street change as new shops open and old ones close. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to use every bit of space, right up to the ceiling. You have to be careful where you step sometimes. We don't have a fancy checkout counter or a waiting lounge. It’s just a hardware store where people come when they have a job to do. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby. We know their names and what they usually buy. Sometimes we don't have exactly what someone wants, but we can usually figure something out. The weather gets hot in the summer, and the shop stays warm, but we keep the fans going. It’s a bit of a messy business, dealing with metal and oil and heavy boxes. We don't mind. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up the shutters at night. It is just how a local shop should be and it works for us here in our community.
