Our office is over at Plot No.85 in Laxmi Gardens, right along Johapura Road in Kurnool. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it gets quite dusty with all the movement around. At Ivrcl Infrastructures And Projects Limited, we don't really go for anything flashy. The office is just a plain building where we keep our tools, some old chairs, and a lot of heavy folders full of project plans. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have the windows open to catch whatever breeze comes through. We’ve got a small crew here. Some of us have been working on infrastructure projects for years, so we’ve seen a lot of changes in the local landscape. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on how the different sites are coming along. It’s a busy place but not in a corporate way. There’s usually a bit of mud on the floor from people coming in from the field. We don't worry too much about that. Our main thing is just making sure the work gets done and the roads or buildings we're working on are solid. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation for a group of people who like to build things that actually matter to the city. No one here wears a suit unless they really have to.
