Gurukul Pre School

Our pre-school is situated at Plot No 54, right in the Amma Hospital Line near the Check Post in Kurnool. Being near the check post means there is always something happening outside on the street. It’s a lively spot for a school. The school is on a street where people are always walking by or heading to the hospital nearby. We have a small gate that leads into our play area. Since we deal with little kids, there is always a lot of noise—mostly laughing or crying, depending on what is going on at the time. The building is just a regular house that we’ve converted for the school. We have painted some bright colors on the walls to make it look a bit more cheerful for the children. There are toys scattered around the rooms, and we spend a good chunk of our evening tidying them up for the next morning. The floors are covered with soft mats so the little ones don’t hurt themselves when they fall down. It gets quite warm in Kurnool, so we try to keep the kids inside during the middle of the day. The staff here is mostly local ladies who have been with us for a while now. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It's just a few rooms, some teachers, and a lot of energy from the kids. We just try to keep everyone safe and busy until their parents arrive for pickup.
