Ganesh Radiums

Ganesh Radiums is located at 6-47-129 in HBG Nagar, over in Adoni. It is a small place where we spend most of our hours hunched over a table with rolls of reflective tape and sharp knives. Working with radium stickers is tricky because you have to be careful with the edges, and we’ve all had our fair share of small nicks on our fingers. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a simple storefront with some examples of our work stuck to the glass. Adoni can get very hot, so we usually have a small pedestal fan that moves the warm air around without much effect. We keep the rolls of material stacked against the back wall, and it’s a bit of a struggle to find the right color sometimes when things get buried under the scrap. Most of our customers are bike owners or people wanting signs for their houses. We don’t have a computer system for bookings or anything; we just write things down in a big ledger we keep on the main desk. It’s been our routine for a long time. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back, so we do all the cutting right near the front door where the sunlight comes in. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just the one that does the job right for the neighbors and the people passing through.
