F.K.Sweets & Bakery

We are located right on Vaddepeta Street here in Kurnool. If you are walking down the road, you can usually smell the bread baking early in the morning before the sun even comes up. We start pretty early to get the ovens going and the dough ready. It's a family-style place and we have been in this part of Andhra Pradesh for a good bit of time now. We make a lot of different sweets and also some regular bread and cakes. The display cases are usually full by ten in the morning and we try to get everything arranged nicely. People come in for snacks on their way home from school or work. Sometimes it gets really crowded on the weekends when everyone is looking for something sweet for their family dinner. We try to keep everything fresh and the quality high. The floor gets a bit dusty from the flour but we sweep it a lot during the day. It’s a busy little shop. We know most of the people who live on Vaddepeta Street by their first names and what they usually like to buy. My hands are usually covered in sugar or flour by midday. We don't have fancy decorations, just some simple shelves for the biscuits and the cooling racks in the back. It’s just us working hard to keep the local folks fed with something tasty.
