Apollo Medical Centre

Apollo Medical Centre is a regular spot located over in Budhawar Pet, near the Ho area. We have been here for a good while now, helping out the people who live nearby. It is not a fancy place with lots of glass and chrome, but it is functional and does what it needs to do. My day usually starts early by unlocking the front door and making sure the lobby is tidy before anyone shows up. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit old but they are sturdy enough for the folks who come in. We see all kinds of people, from young kids with a cough to older residents who just need their blood pressure checked. The road outside can get pretty noisy with all the rickshaws and motorbikes passing by, but once you are inside, it is mostly quiet. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know how to keep things running. We spend a lot of time looking at charts and talking to patients about their symptoms. It’s a lot of paperwork too, which can be a bit of a headache, but it has to be done. We try to get through the queue as fast as we can so nobody is sitting around for hours. It’s just a basic medical centre where people go when they aren't feeling their best. Nothing more, nothing less. We just focus on the work right in front of us every single day.
