Allipeera Provision Store

Our shop, Allipeera Provision Store, is located at 5-6-542 on NM Road in Adoni. It is a narrow street and things can get pretty congested when the delivery rickshaws come through. We sell the basic things people need for their kitchens like lentils, spices, and oil. The bags of grain are usually stacked right at the front so people can see what we have. It is a bit dark inside the store because the building is deep, but we have a few bulbs hanging from the ceiling. I’ve spent many years behind this counter. The floor is made of smooth stone that stays cool even when the Adoni heat is bad outside. We don't do any big promotions or put up posters. People come here because they’ve been coming here for years. We weigh everything out on the scales while the customers wait and chat about the local news. Sometimes the kids come in for sweets after school. It is a lot of lifting heavy sacks and sweeping the floor. We close for a few hours in the afternoon when it gets too hot and then open back up for the evening rush. It is just a regular life of a shopkeeper on NM Road. We try to keep the prices fair and the stock fresh, nothing more complicated than that. Dealing with customers every day is what keeps us busy and we like the routine of it all.
