We are located right on Shalimar Road, just at the Main Chowk in Nishat. It is hard to miss us since we sit right in front of the Shalimar Bagh. Most days, you can see the students walking down the road with their heavy bags after school lets out. The center is basically a few rooms where we keep things simple with wooden desks and whiteboards. It gets quite busy around here, especially in the afternoons when the traffic at the chowk picks up. We started this place because there was a need for some extra help for the local kids. There is nothing fancy about the building. It’s an old place, and sometimes the fans are a bit loud, but it stays cool enough in the summer because of the trees nearby. We spend our mornings getting the rooms ready and cleaning up from the night before. Usually, the tea stall nearby is where we grab a quick drink before the first batch of students arrives. People in Nishat know us well by now. We don't do much advertising because everyone just walks in and asks about the timings. It’s just how things work around here. We try to keep the chairs in good shape, but they get a lot of use. If you are coming from the city side, just look for the sign near the main turn. We are usually there until late evening, making sure everyone gets their work done. It’s a lot of hours, but it’s what we do.
