Soura Marble

Soura Marble is tucked away in the Industrial Estate over in the Zaina Kog area of Shrinagar. We have been working out of the Soura Marble Complex for a good while now. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machinery and workers nearby. Shrinagar can get pretty cold, so we spend a lot of time making sure our stock is protected and that the yard stays clear during the snow. We deal mostly in different kinds of stones that people use for their homes and shops. It’s not the easiest job in the world, especially when you have to move those heavy pieces in the rain, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of our days are spent talking to builders or people who are just stopping by to see what we have on the racks. We aren't a big corporate office with a lot of rules; we just open the gates in the morning and get to work. Sometimes the transport can be a bit tricky getting things into the valley, but we usually have enough on hand. People know us as a place where they can get a straight answer about what kind of stone will work for their floor. We don't use any big words or try to sell people stuff they don't need. It’s just us, the stone, and the daily grind in Zaina Kog.
